There is a lot of good beer knocking about these days. You may have noticed. There's a lot of  very average beer knocking about also, and some real garbage, but we'll gloss over those as they don't interest any of us, right?

On September 13th Halena Pritchard will be running a tasting on some fantastic New Zealand breweries / beers. Halena was Duty Manager at Malthouse in Wellington before she moved to the UK and is more than au fait with the Kiwi beer portfolio. An honorary Yeastie Boy and Scottish Sales for the NZ Beer Collective, there's no better person in Scotland for this. And she happens to work here too, which is handy (the Pilot's v's Doughnuts was her idea, too).

The draft list will look like this on the night..
Tuatara - Sauvinova
Tuatara - Conehead
8 Wired - Tropidelic
8 Wired - Fresh Hopwired
Three Boys - Tokyo Green Tea Ale
Yeastie Boys - Hellzapoppin'
Yeastie Boys Gunnamatta

And Halena will talk you through the breweries, the NZ beer scene, what to look out for when it arrives in the country. Through the evening Helana will talk through 4 beers and their breweries and there will be snacks on hand, probably (definitely) involving cheese.

Also we have a Petrus Tasting on the 14th with the ridiculously knowledgable Joe Dick giving a talk on those magical sour beers. Also £10.50 per head.

Tickets for the NZ Beer Collective available HERE and they are £10.50 each
